As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Thursday, August 3

1. All 80 students got dragged through two full dress rehersals for tonight’s big performance and it was brutel! We all sat for a little over 5 hours (with a break for lunch) in a smelly auditorium that had one air conditioner very inconveniently located at the back corner.
2. Went in search of some kind of entertainment for those waiting around in the auditorium for their turn on stage. Voila…. water spray bottles!!! Amused myself and the kids by doing random “drive-by sprays”! It was so funny.
3. While in the bathroom stall, I got ambushed by two girls with water spray bottles who thought it funny to stand on the toilets, lean over the stall wall, and spray me.
4. During lunch I edited a speech that was written by a teacher and was quite shocked at the grammatical errors.
5. As my E2 class performed our class poem that we had written together, I was totally confused by what appeared to be changes in the program. Turns out my co-teacher took it upon herself to change what I had planned.
6. Was surprised by my Eumbong Middle School Principle who came out today to show his support to me. He wasn’t able to stay for the show but he wanted to say hi to me. This man is so awesome and I thought it was respectable and so cool that he went out his way for me.
7. My Vice Principle came to see our show and so that was really special too. All my students had their parents there and so it felt awesome to also have someone in the crowd cheering me on.
8. Volunteered myself to help out opening and closing the stage curtain during the performance! I decided to copy Ariel and fold the curtain around my body so that the crowd couldn’t see me but that thick velvet curtain made me so hot.
9. The show was a HUGE hit with everyone. Everyone was impressed and the students all were awesome!
10. After the show, Ariel, Edil, and I went to each class and greeted the parents and made comments to the students. Everyone was smiley and all the parents loved us. It was great to meet everyone but it kind of made me sad that tomorrow will be the last day of camp.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Why do you ask me to do things if you're going to turn around and do it yourself?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Just give medium.
