As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hey Amy,
Had a busy week and I am sure you have a lot of them yourself. I sent that link for the backup thing on your email address but I’ll give it to you here or the name of the thing and you can look it up. It’s called Clickfree Automatic Backup which you can find on the web and check it out. It looks good. Don’t know why it didn’t go through to your mail?
You are so right that most people can’t relate to females interested in training and practicing boxing. It takes a lot of thinking and not just the fighting as you said.
Have you gotten another match or did it get cancelled Amy? I hope you can have another match and it will give extra incentive.
My incentive is to just do better against Shawn. I try to outwit her at every sparring session. She gave me a nickname which I have mixed feelings about. She calls me “The Plodder” because I’m kind of slow with my footwork. :)I don’t mind because it’s just a tease and it does remind me to keep moving which is good I guess?
I’ve been sticking to a leaner diet thanks to you. Thanks for the encouragement Amy.

Hey Amy,
That looks like some fire and that video clip shows how intense it was. It gives me a bit of bad memories of course about 911. It’s sort of a crazy world we live in and because the fire seemed so big it reminded me of that.
I like that picture of you by the way with the skirt and boots and jacket. I always like that look and it looks sexy on you. Just because women like us like to box and train doesn’t mean we don’t look feminine and all right? No, it looks great on you though Amy. I thought I’d tell you.
