1. Am officially addicted to the new cream cheese flavour yogurt by Yoplait... it's simply divine!!!
2. Unfortunately, I am also addicted to Dream, it's a white chocolate bar by Cadbury. I thought I was safe from it here; I didn't think Korea had it. Thankfully I've been able to resist it's luring delicious temptations and have limited myself to one single piece a day... ok, so today I had two pieces, so sue me... hahaha.
3. Great news, got word that it's official, Buff Boy the Original is back in Korea, back in Cheonan, and so we're meeting up for coffee, or in my case tea, tomorrow afternoon... wicked.
4. More great news... my buddy Errol from back in the days when I was a newbie here in Korea, is returning any day now to Korea after a couple of years being back in Canada. He'll be moving to Seosan, which really isn't so close to Cheonan (boo to that) and will be working at Hanseo University (ya to that).
5. My parents sent me out the Police criminal background record check and I received it today by priority mail. I wonder if they'll remember the time I stripped that Barbie doll in Wolco and shoved her clothes into my pants. I surrendered the doll... but I still have her clothes... hahaha. Sorry Barbie.
6. You know you're bored when you run out of things to clean and you then turn to the garbage can and say, "Hey why not?!... let's get scrubbed up!"... hahaha.... and then you go and add it as a highlight of your day.... hahaha. I need a new hobby but reading any more of Burroughs novels are definitely out of the question. The only "running with scissors" I'll be doing is using those scissors to chop his book up and cleaning the mirrors with it.
7. Had sparring practice tonight and so for the entire afternoon a whack of butterflies invaded my tummy and made me edgy. I get so worked up for sparring. It's only practice, I know, but Junior Mint treats it very serious, so many people stick around to watch, and it's kind of like a preview show of the bigger show, the real scheduled fight.
8. In between rounds, Junior Mint called me to the side and told me to keep my head shots to a minimum. I tried to solely focus on my body shots and weaving but it was too hard to resist giving her the occasional head shot.
9. Round two the blood started pouring... from her nose that is. I felt kind of proud.
10. I rushed home, all super eager to show Q my video footage of my sparring practice but he was no where to be found. So I sat on the floor and showed Mi Nam. Mi Nam tried to show his interest by licking the camera screen but I knew he wasn't interested. Dang... it's times like this I really miss Canada, my family and my friends. I knew they would have basked in the moment with me.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
How are you getting better?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
The road to success is dotted with many tempting parking places.

As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
