As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Introducing the ever so dedicated, ever so strong Isabelle Turell...

... and the ever so respected, ever so hardcore Jen Hendershott.
Beware, these hard-body ladies are going to be dropping jaws, kicking butts, and scoring large at next weekend's Arnold Classic!!!

I really lol when I saw that picture of you. I know your arms look solid but I don't think you want to get them like that. :) Funny picture. Love it!

Hi Beth,
Hahaha... I agree but then again, she is a PROFESSIONAL bodybuilder so that's the thing and look she's going for. I'm sure wickedly strong arms like that would only kill me in the ring by making me super slow!!!

Yo Ryan,
Hahahaha.. I guess you can see a somewhat resemblence (sp?). I love her massiveness but it'd definitely be my insecurity here. It's bad enough I get dirty looks here in Korea when I flex and my arms aren't even half her size.
Having said that though, I use to be big into bodybuilding and if I hadn't come to Korea, I would have defintely pursued it more.
