As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Training at a somewhat empty club is great but it also means all that more attention given by the coach.

Hey Amy,
I like these pictures a lot. I like the one of you with the barbell starting a curl exercise. Nice form. I think you look better than a lot of the muscle girls you posted on your site. You are solid and feminine also which is great. Your muscles are really impressive and inspire me to improve like that.
I didn’t have a great week sparring with Shauna. Sometimes she’s pretty unforgiving with her jabs depending on her mood and with her feigning an opening I of course go after it and pay the price. She was putting extra on them which is ok because I have to learn to be a little smarter with my strategy. Shaun is like your friend Panty Boy in that regard I guess. Heh heh. She gave me a standing eight in our second session. I was so mad at myself but it’s a learning process you know?
I have been eating smaller meals and eating the proper amount of protein and I feel lighter and I like it like that. I like vegetables so I eat a lot of those. Fruit also.

Beth :)
