2. Had promised to meet up with Tang at training. He thought it funny to watch Junior Mint beat me with that silly four-foot beating stick but it was me who was left laughing in the end when we compared bicep sizes... hahaha.
3. Tang is always full of jokes and conversations with us get quite sarcastic… very sarcastic. Today we threw some extra sarcastic comments at each other.
Me: Last night some dude saw my pink sports bra at weigh-in and gave me a pretty dirty look. What’s up with that?!4. Little Miss I-Deserve-A-Kick-To-My-Head was at training today and so I went about ignoring her which didn’t really work considering Tang thought it funny to tease me about her. I can deal with her being with her being rude to others but if it weren’t for her occasional poor manners to Junior Mint, a person I obviously respect and am grateful for, I’d probably like her. She definitely has spunk and I like her feisty attitude.
Tang: Maybe he was shocked to see a boy wearing a bra.
Me: Listen, I’ve never had a boyfriend complain about my body.
Tang: Of course not, they’re afraid you’ll punch them.
Tang: Wow… we almost weigh the same (hinting that I weigh a lot)
Me: … ya, but I wear it all in my sports bra.
Tang: Look… I have a six-pack!
Me: Look… I have bigger arms than you!
5. Tang says I don’t have to worry about anyone I can knock out with one punch… nice advice. “I guess I don’t have to worry about you then”… hahaha.
6. I’ve been getting numerous emails and questions lately with regards to what I eat to stay fit and healthy and so I thought I’d post what I ate today. At first it use to be difficult and annoying to schedule when I was able to eat considering I teach for four straight hours most work days and my work schedule isn't always the same but now I have my routine down pack and packing meals is super easy, too. I don't have the same set schedule for each day but it's pretty much the same in that I eat every 3 hours, or close to it.
Meal #1: 8am7. Yes, I’m not normal… I prefer the smell of Mi Nam all dirty than a freshly-washed Mi Nam. Tonight I gave him a bath, though. Q hinted to me the other day that Mi Nam is looking more like a yellow dog and smells like a walking potato chip… hahaha.
Plain oatmeal with half a spoon of peanut butter and boiled chicken in it.
Meat #2: 11am [short break in between my two classes]
Tuna kimbab (specially made for me by kimbab lady. Less mayo, extra tuna, no egg)
Meal #3: 2pm
Two whole wheat rice cakes, lightly topped with peanut butter.
Meal #4: 5pm [15 minutes after I return from boxing]
A three egg-white broccoli omelet (no yokes).
Meal #5: 7:30pm
A mixed green salad with light oriental salad dressing and chicken.
Meal #6: 10pm
Two hard-boiled eggs (no yokes) and some baby tomatoes.
8. The other week Mi Nam decided that he was going to eat part of the leather off his handmade metal studded collar that I dished out $80 to have personally made for him when I was in Canada. Tonight I went in search of a similar collar but had no such luck. Koreans will dye their dog’s fur and dress them in dresses but apparently finding a metal studded leather collar is impossible.
9. Checked out “Confessions of a Shopaholic” at the movies tonight. I read the book a couple of months ago and, as cute as the movie was, the book was definitely much better.
10. Was in bed by 11:30pm… boy am I getting old… hahaha.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's up with that?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
The best advice is this: Don't take advice and don't give advice.
