(And no... I am not naked. I was wearing an old skool ghetto tube top that looked straight out of the 80's... hahaha)
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hi Amy,
I have off today so I’m catching up on some things home for a change.
Love those pictures. The one of you circling your eyes I think is a funny one.
I think I mentioned to you one time that some of my sparring with Shawn was videotaped by a friend of hers. She has the copies and I’d love to send those to you to let you see sometime. The thing I remember was how it shows that I am not moving on my feet or keeping my head moving to avoid jabs. I have to learn to do that cause the jabs hurt.
I’m going to spar Kim, Shawn’s sister later today at practice. It was put off a bit so I’ll let you know how it goes. I’m nervous because she’s probably good. ‘
I’d like to videotape my sparring as you said and I’m going to see about more of that soon.
Beth
Hey Beth,
Gotta love those days off! Did you get up to speed with all your errands?
Ya, for sure... send me some tapings of you sparring. I may even post some on my homepage, that is if you don't mind.
Video taping sparring sessions is also super benefitual because it allows you to be somewhat of an outsider looking in while also being the person on the inside.
