As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Do you know the location of the fight?
AMY! I thought I left you a comment yesterday about my blog moving, but apparently it didn't go through! Anyway, I know I've been so MIA lately, got a little too obsessed with my phone and neglected my blog. But I'm back in blog mode (it always comes back!) so I'll be on top of it from now on!
I always keep up with your blog! I'm so glad you didn't get rid of it like you had thought about before! I love reading it because it's so different than many typical foreigner in Korea type blogs. I know you get the random heckler, but those people don't matter haha.
I'm so bummed though, my boyfriend went to Korea to visit his dad (he'll be there a month) and I was originally supposed to go with him, but that fell through. I was so looking forward to trying to meet you in person! Ah, maybe some day!
Anyway, this is like a novel now, so I'll stop haha.

Hello Anonymous,
From what I know, his fight is in Cebu, Philippines.
Yo Becca!!!
You're alive AND still reading my blog -- BONUS!!!
I hear ya about the phone thing. Snickers bought me the new Optimus by LG and I'm hooked on it. I can do Facebook and Twitter on it, I can check email and pretty much do a million and one other things on it too.
Ya, I still get the random heckler but it's more or less people that are so obviously ignorant of things. I don't really worry about them cause they've been so wrong about so many things, like Snickers and Q for example. But anyways, it's all good.
That would have totally rocked had you been able to come to Korea with Clockwork!!! I hope he picks up some Korean goodies for you.
Good to hear from you -- stay in touch!
