As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I'm loving the ripped body but I much prefer the comfy cozy body of my husband with abs and with more then a CRAZY FIVE PERCENT of body fat -- that's just crazy.

I can't wait till his old body comes back because cuddling with this game weigh-in body is brutal.

Looks a little sickly, honestly. Especially the third picture. Yuck!

Hi Anonymous,
Yes, I totally agree, hence why I noted that I'm looking forward to his old body coming back.

Is this even healthy? The up and down in weight so drastically in such a short time?

Hi Anonymous... again?!
No, it's not healthy but talk to any professional boxer and they'll tell you they go through the same thing. It's part of the sport.

Sorry, I'm too lazy to sign my name. I'm the second anonymous (AII), not the first one. Yeah, I assume this goes on around fights, but it seems a little extreme. Wouldn't it be better for him to fight in a higher weight class? I mean, he's not losing a couple of pounds to fit into his size. The difference is too much.

Hi Anonymous,
No name is ok but it'll make it next to impossible to know whether its you or not in other post comments. Anyways...
Yes, it is definitely extreme. He's legally registered as a super lightweight and though he could do the paper work to switch weight classes he doesn't want to. Having to lose so much weight is hard but it almost all boxers pick a weight class much lower than their average weight so that when they step in the ring (after eating after weigh-in and bouncing up in weight) this added weight can give them an advantage in the ring.
