Honestly, I'm not particularly interested in meeting his mom's side of the family, as brutal as that sounds. K-Gere's side of the family tends to be more modern and open-minded thinking but Mama Kim is like the polar opposite. I know she means well but I can't help but still feel stressed around her. I should note though that she's been trying to be more open-minded to me lately and this has shown it self in the fact that she tries to cuddle up to me on the couch and likes to touch my arms. There is definitely hope for me to become comfortable with her but just not right now and definitely not over the holidays. As for not going today though, the main reason was because I've been told that Mama Kim is a spitting image of her mother and two sisters, which would mean three times the baby pressure... no thanks. Snickers joked with me and told me if I went with him that I couldn't resort to throwing apples... hahaha.
Snickers headed off to Icheon and then I headed out the door to go boxing. The club has been closed for the past three days but I've got the one spare key.
Plugged in my iPod, cranked up the tunes, and then I did some cleaning before I started training. Vacuumed and mopped the floors, cleaned up the weight training area, and put the laundry away.
I use to go unnoticed when I trained alone in the club but not too long ago Junior Mint got the front metal door replaced. He replaced it with a door that's more window than actual door, so people can easily see into the club. Consequently, today I had an uninvited audience watch me train. I'm not too sure on how long they were watching me for but they quickly scattered and ran down the stairs when I noticed them.
Another person approached the boxing club door to watch me. It was none other than the building's owner, a sweet older man who lives upstairs and owns a couple of neighboring stores. I opened the door to let him come in and he sat for a good twenty minutes or so, watching me beat the heck out of the sand bag. After, when I was leaving the club, the older man came back down from his upstairs apartment and offered me a small carton of banana milk. He no longer runs the convenience store downstairs but remembered all the times I use to pop in after training and grab some milk. QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Got milk?

Hey Amy,
I like the concentration with you hitting the bag. It looks like you have a good jab going there. Great!
:)
