Upped my runs, replacing my weekday 7km runs to 10km and my 10km Saturday long runs to 13km.
Ran 10km today and then headed off to the boxing club in the evening for boxing and weight training.
Am thinking of agreeing to do a half marathon in the fall.
Watching K1 fighting Sundays on TV just got sooooo much better. Scored a ticket to Snickers’ best bud Wonder Boy’s debut fight this Sunday, so I’ll be there to watch it live and in person!
Newest health-eat addiction is tuna curry… a spoonful of curry powder mixed into some tuna, squirt in some mustard, add some yogurt to up the moist factor, throw in some chopped up apples, toss it in a whole wheat tortilla and viola… protein galore all wrapped up and delish.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Any avid runners reading this?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
You cannot dream yourself into a character; you must hammer and forge yourself one.
-- James A. Froude
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
