As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Waking up to a very hungry Mother Nature with her totally inhaling the riverside path I run on, left me speechless and with bulging eyes in disbelief. Korea has been having some very unusual weather. It’s rainy season has come much later than usual and the amount of rain it has been bringing has been so bizarre. I love rainy days but these rainy days have been intense. I’m talking about being woken up by the loudness of the downpour, having to mop up the floor from the unexpected amount of rain being pushed into the house by the wind, and then there’s all the street and river flooding that has been happening.

On a different note, I met with my new personal training client today. I haven’t yet thought of a fitting nickname for him. He’s super eager and willing to jump full force into what I’ve got planned for him so I really hope I do him justice and get him the positive results he’s looking for.

In regards to my own training, this upcoming Monday I start a three month temporary job at a local university. These days I’ve been doing a lot of running and boxing. Next week however, I plan on keeping up with my boxing in the evening but I have no idea how I’m going to keep up with my running. I really want to aim for a half-marathon so I need my running but my schedule is going to be so tight because of my temp job. Through in the fact that I also tutor at 6:20am and that only helps to complicate things more. I could do without my running but oh how I do love a good run.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Is this what "normal people" do, let work eat up all their time?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
There is never enough time, unless you're serving it.
