As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Yes, I did this.
Now before you start thinking I'm some kind of husband-abuser or into any kind of kinky stuff, hear me out. Snickers and I always play wrestle. We play wrestle way too much, even while waiting in line at the grocery store. We clearly watch too much UFC and whatnot so our play wrestling time tends to get quite physical. Kicks to the shins, pulling of the ears and hair, and knuckle punches to the top of the head are all moves we think funny to test out on each other.

I've never resorted to using my nails though. Snickers hates getting scratched with a passion but today, after he put me in a brutal choke hold that left me limited to what I could do, I pulled out the claws and scratched him in attempts to free myself. It worked... of course it worked. Mind ya, he wasn't too happy afterward and it left our bedding bloody.

Hi Fabi,
Hahahaha... don't be scared. I too was shocked at just how bad I had scratched up his back. Just goes to show you how fiesty his and my play-fighting goes... wow.
