As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

More moments I would love to step back into.
Wearing this shirt without Snicker sneaking up to jump inside to join me just isn't the same. I miss him so much.

While I was in America for a month without my beau, I got one of those "message capsule" jars with 31 "pills" and wrote a little message every day with a date, time, and person, place, or thing that reminded me of him. It was fun for him to open them up later and see that I thought of him every day :)

Hi BRB, Korea,
Ya, I have one of those capsules too. I have yet to fill out it's papers though. I'm sure he really loved that gift -- quite romantic! Sometimes Snickers writes mini love letters on post-it notes and hides them around the house. I know it's not much but trust me, whenever I discover a note he's hidden it's better than discovering any sum of lost money in my pocket.
