5:20am – Meal #1: protein-packed 4 egg white, 1 egg yoke pancake with blueberries mixed in and a spoonful of organic strawberry spread swept over the cooked pancake.
5:45am – Jumped on Gotti and raced off to Samsung for tutoring.
6:10am – Arrived at Samsung and handed out peppero to some of the security guards I know. Note, it’s Peppero Day today here in Korea. It’s basically a company-made holiday that centers around the buying and giving of these long stick cookies dipped in chocolate.
6:40am – Started tutoring after my VP showed up 20 minutes late.
7:20am – Tutoring finished. Jumped back on Gotti and headed home.
7:50am – Arrived back at Ggum Guum and stripped down to comfy clothes.
8:00am – Meal #2: one medium sized apple with two spoonfuls of homemade almond butter and a small coffee (milk but no sugar or sweetener).

8:20am – Snickers called, so I got to talk to my beautiful man for twenty minutes.9:00am – Laid down for a cat nap but ended up dozing the hours away!
1:00pm – Woke up. Meal #3: tuna and beef curry mixed with mushrooms and cucumbers, and brown rice on the side.
1:30pm – Threw some laundry in the machine, did some emailing and studiedKorean language studying.2:30pm – Headed out for an anticipated long run but my plans got rained out. Only got in a 9km run.
3:30pm – Showered and then studied some phone bill related terms so that I could return the call LG made to me about Snickers’ phone bill.
4:00pm – Meal #4: a bowl of nonfat yogurt mixed with vanilla protein powder, celery sticks, and a small orange. Watched a bit of the Discovery Channel while eating. Topic was the African warthog… what an ugly beast!
4:20pm – Picked out my eight new Korean words of the day: 존경하다to respect, 미소하다 to smile, 생리하다to have cramps, 식욕이 없다to have no appetite, 빨래하다to do laundry, 설거지하다to do the dishes, 회사에 지각했다to be late for work, 근유통이다to have sore muscles.5:00pm – Headed out to Adidas and then to K-Gere’s house to give him some peppero.
5:40pm – Got caught in a brutal downpour while driving Gotti. It involved way too much rain and hail. Had no choice but turn back and go home… totally soaked to the bone. Treated myself to a black coffee to de-thaw from the chilly experience and one of the chocolate truffles from the massive box of truffles Cheeto Girl had surprised me with the other day.
6:00pm – Planned tomorrow’s lessons for my Church Kiddy classes.7:00pm – Meal #5: ate the rest of my tuna beef curry. Studied Korean.
8:30pm – Headed out to the boxing club for training and almost had a near death experience on Gotti when Gotti suddenly stalled in the middle of the biggest intersection downtown. Ended up having to leave by the side of the road and run over to the scooter shop.10:00pm – Finished boxing, picked up Gotti and after shilling out $30 to fix what the Scooter Man thought was the problem, Gotti stalled again… three times.
10:10pm – Scooter Man tossed me the keys and off I drove home with a super ghetto lender scooter whose alinement was rather bonkers. I felt so embarrassed driving this ugly beast of burden.
10:20pm – Ate a late meal #6: tomatoes and 3 hardboiled eggs. Showered, took Mi Nam out for a walk and then returned to Ggum Guum to send out some emails.
11:00pm – Snickers called again. When he’s on land, he calls me twice a day, 8am and 11pm. We’re only able to talk for about 20 minutes but his calls are the highlight of my days.
11:20pm - Read an old copy of Oxygen Fitness magazine.
11:50pm - Called it a day, so off went the lights and into LaLa Land I drifted.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
If everything either helps or hinders you, did you help or hinder yourself today?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
We are indeed much more than what we eat, but what we eat can nevertheless help us to be much more than what we are.

hahaha, nothing to do, I just wanna "actor-mi-nam" as my brother-in-law.. I'll come to your place with my little Milla and we have to celebrate the wedding.... hihihi, looking at these picts I just love Mi-Nam more and more.. I'm sure he knows how to look cute in front of the camera, to get what he wants...In this case, I guess, all the good food I see in your dish!haha, give him a big kiss for me, Amy :)
Hugs for you from Italy.

Wow! What a busy and jam-packed day you have. Is it always like this for you? Do you sleep only 5 hours every night? You are TRULY Korean! LOL
It makes me tearful when you talk about how much you miss your husband. I love the stories of the things you two do together. I hope he's back with you soon. Fighting!
Also, I would love to take up boxing; there's a club down the street from me here in Seoul, but I'm too intimidated to go inside, plus my Korean is horrible. I need to study more so I can join!
P.S. I hope your half-marathon went well yesterday! ^.^
Hey Fabi,
Yes, Mi Nam definitely knows how to milk the camera... he really works it!!! By the way, not too sure if you mentioned before or not, but what kind of dog is your Milla? And does the name Milla have any kind of special meaning? The name "Mi Nam" is a Korea word and it means "handsome"... hahaha. How ironic... hahaha.
Hi Daantaat,
My days are pretty busy or so I try to keep them cause I'd go mental. I miss my husband so much so keeping me busy is keeping me sane. And yes, I do usually get more than 5 hours sleep though I must admit that it's split up. I sleep about 6 hours at night and then when I return home around 8am from tutoring I usually grab meal #2 and then crash for a couple of hours.
As for the boxing, try it out. It's AWESOME cardio!!! Honestly, when I first started to train at my boxing club here in Korea I knew very little Korean and there was basically only one other person training who spoke English there. You'd be surprised how much you can learn and communicate if just using body language. Trust me, it's not as hard as you think it'd be. Test it out. The worst that can happen is you get frustrated and feel totally uncomfortable, but I doubt that will happen. Stick with it for at least a good solid two weeks and if it really doesn't change than quit. You never know until you try, right... right!
haha i know about mi-nam meaning, it's very funny and it fits him.
Milla isnt a "race dog". Her mother was kinda "open-mind lady" and you know...kkkkk. But milla is really beautiful, she's white, with some black part. The name has no meaning, in family we just liked the actress Milla Jovovich so we decided to name her like that.
=) Cheers dear,
Fabi
