As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Boo to LG... Wednesday, February 23

Definitely have a bone to pick with LG.

Within two and a half months, I've only dialed out on my phone a total of 3 hours and 43minutes, but within this same time frame Snickers has made 21 hours and 43 minutes worth of phone calls.

Our phone bill totals are mere dollars apart... too close for comfort.

According to our phone plan we get 4 hours of free calls a month, of which I haven't even used that much in three months. We both use KakaoTalk, a free downloadable messanger application, for text messaging each other and our friends. And beyond the other free applications, the calculator and the alarm clock, I've downloaded two Gwen Stefani and Mariah Carey ringtones and use it for the Internet.

Am seriously thinking about ditching my cell phone because being way too attached to it for the fact that it buzzes me every time I get an email, it's not worth the hefty phone bill it sends my way.

I must admit though, I love the fact that I can email and write my homepage from my phone but I hate the fact that it makes me too easily accessable to whomever whats to get in touch with me. Moreover, my cell phone (Optimus) goes through one to two batteries a day... brutal!!!

What ever happened to pagers? And are landlines so yesterday?

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Are you one of those people with your cell phone attached to your hip?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Good communication is as stimulating as black coffee and just as hard to sleep after.
