As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Granny-K is in The House... Tuesday, February 8

While I was out sipping on some super strong black coffee with Cat over at Coffee Bean, Snickers was heading out of town to pick up his grandmother, Granny-K. The plan was to pick her up and drop her off at Mama Kim's house where she'd be sleeping over till tomorrow. Tomorrow we'd be taking her down south to K-Gere's new house.

Well, that was the original plan, but plans changed.

Later in the evening Snickers and I headed over to Mama Kim's house to save Granny-K. With Mama Kim's house maxed out with students all studying and the twins pleading with her to play with them, we thought we'd distract everyone so that she could relax.

Nothing is really relaxing about my mother-in-law's house though cause my sister-in-law, who also lives there, operates a study room from the apartment. Consequently, there's always students coming in and out of the place. There were 10 students there when we first arrived... so 10 students, Mama Kim, my two sister-in-laws, my sister-in-law's husband, the twins, Granny-K, Snickers, and me... a total of 19 people were present, yikes.

Needless to say, Granny-K was itching to leave this packed pad and head down south to K-Gere's new house. Both Snickers and I were tired, especially after dealing with all those students and the twins, so we convinced her to let us pick her up early tomorrow morning and then head out.

Plan is to pick Granny-K up at 7:30am, after my Samsung tutoring tomorrow.

On a side note, guess who Snickers spotted in a Japanese cartoon today?! Hahaha... so funny. Gotti looks good but I personally don't think my eyes are so big, nor is my chest but whatever... hahaha.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
How can you think with all this noise?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
