As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

More Than I Agreed To... Saturday, May 7

Pyun Chi the Pee Master Beast of Fur has officially managed to turn Ggum Guum upside down in less than 24 hours and Snickers is all goggle-eyed over her. I personally haven't fallen for her but I think Mi Nam is starting to really take a liking to her.

At first Mi Nam was all about sniffing her from head to toe and I was all about holding down Pyun Chi so that he could do so but then it got rather annoying. Honestly, it was as if Mi Nam had never seen a female dog before. He just wouldn't leave her alone. Thankfully he never got "down and dirty", if you know what I mean, but I think that had to do with the fact that he clearly didn't know how to do it even if he wanted to. He was huffing and puffing as if he was on the verge of a heart attack.

After it was clear Mi Nam just wouldn't leave her alone, I let Pyun Chi go, knowing full well that she'd put Mi Nam in his place... and she did! She totally did. All it took was one too many sniffs of this and that and Pyun Chi the Pee Master Beast of Fur unleashed the real animal in her and grabbed Mi Nam by the back leg. She didn't bit hard but hard enough to give Mi Nam a little shock and to tell him not to mess with her. Needless to say, Mi Nam got the message after a couple more nibbles to his leg.

Watching the two outside was fun but annoyingly hard to walk them together. It was more or less them rolling around in the grass together while I tried to separate them. I scooped up Pyun Chi, hoping that Mi Nam would run along and do his business outside, no such luck though. He ended up jumping on me, trying to get Pyun Chi. A ten minute so-called walk left me filthy with dog paw prints all over my clothes and exhausted.

With Snickers off at work today I was left to deal with Pyun Chi the Pee Master Beast of Fur and Mi Nam. Needless to say any hopes of a relaxing Saturday was quickly kicked to the curb and if Snickers things this is going to be a regular thingm boy I've got news for him.

It's not that I don't like Pyun Chi but I'm not particulary interested in her either. She's this massive ball of fur, like a walking teddy bear, that pees and chews on everything... everything!!! She chews on the expected things, like shoes and plants, but then she goes and chews on things you can't exactly hide from her or expect her to munch on, like the floor paneling and the wood sideboards. I think I'll take a real liking to her once she's through this baby stage of her life and has adapted some kind of personality beyond the baby manner she's sporting now that I find rather annoying.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
If your dog could talk, what would it say?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Dogs are better than human beings because they know but do not tell.

Ha! The chewing part might take a while. Some breeds are chewers by nature. I have a 15-month labrador and he chews EVERYTHING. I woke up one morning and he had eaten the top half of my DVD remote. Sure, he's better than he used to be, but the urge is not gone.
