As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Picture Depiction... Tuesday, May 3

A picture depiction of what my day consisted of...
8:15, started work at the daycare. This is the massive dinosaur my mini-Koreans and I made. It rocks!!!

2:15pm, treated myself to a coffee at the usual little coffee shop I visit twice a week. The owner of the shop is a young guy, about my age, who I've just recently met but have already scored two free coffees off of -- sweet.

3:30pm, arrived back at Ggum Guum for some down time with Mi Nam. Gave myself a face mask treatment and Mi Nam scored lots of hugs and kisses from me.

4:30pm, went jogging. I'm not a fan of running in this blazing sun but am loving the hardcore workout it gives me. Am feeling my arms getting skinny so my plan is to pack on more muscle via been running with weighted wrist bands and upping my weight training at boxing.
7pm, brief meeting with my boxing sponsor.
8pm, training at the boxing club and stood by to watch my husband (red head gear) dish out the mad beatings to his opponent.

11pm, sleep time.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What did you do today?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.

Hi Amy,
I'm glad to see you are planning to pack more muscle on your arms and when I jog in between sparring I use these wrist weights that wrap around and are made by Everlast. I put them around my ankles sometimes too. I think that can improve my foot speed a bit. You should post some more pics once you add more muscle to your arms.
I like the face mask pictures also and you and Mi Nam look like kissn' cousins in it. :)
Tell your husband to go easy on his sparring partners because I can relate somewhat to that. Heh heh. :)
I'm glad you love boxing.
