As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Snickers' Canine Security Crew... Monday, May 2

Yesterday I finally met the security dogs at Wonder Boy's car shop -- the place where Snickers is working. I thought I'll leave their introduction to today though cause yesterday was all about boxing and lots there of it.

So, without any more delay, I present to you Snickers' security crew.

1. 폔치, pronounced as Pyun Chi, the English translationed name being Pliers. This is the pup hand selected and picked by Snickers. Snickers drove six hours to get this fluff ball. He's only two and a half months old but is already turning into quite the teddy bear ball of massive fur. He's way to friendly and hyper to really be any kind of security right now unless you fear being licked to death but when he's full grown he'll be a 60kg beast!

2. 망치, pronounced Mang Chi, English name being Hammer.

He is only two months old but at full grown he'll weigh-in at an estimated 60kgs. Wonder Boy picked this guy out and he is absolutely stunning -- blue eyes and long legs he hasn't yet figured out how to use. He looks like a cross between a dog and a horse and it's hilarious to watch him run. His feet flop every where but when his blue eyes meet yours you just totally melt.

3. 망키, short form for 망키 롄치, which reads Monkey Wrench, the short form being Mon Key.

He was hand picked by another one of Snickers' friends -- a friend who clearly ditched the idea of security when he fell for this fluffy little guy. He's a golden retriever who is the youngest of the three -- a month and a half old.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's there not to love about a dog?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...

Dogs have owners, cats have staff.

What kind of dog is Mang Chi? He looks like a purebred. So giant!
