They say "it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye, then it's a sport" but what about when someone gashes their head open?! That's just as messy.
Anyways, that's exactly what happened today, I gashed my head open and was left with my hair stuck to a blood-dried slashed head.
You see, Snickers and I love to play wrestle. And now I know why my mother forbid me to watch wrestling when I was a kid because I get way too into watching UFC and boxing. The boxing I can deal with, afterall I hit the gym about five times a week, but the UFC... hmmm... I end up testing out my moves on Snickers and he likewise with me. But today's horse-playing got way too out of hand and through in the fact that we were horsing around in a very small one-bedroom apartment littered with pieces of our furniture and clothes... ya, a perfect reciepe for disaster. And disaster is exactly what happened.
Snickers went to push me but I stepped back onto the corner of a drawer and the I came crashing down on that very same drawer. I crashed hard with my head hitting the corner of it.
It wasn't until later that I knew I had actually drrawn blood. My head was throbbing so I opted out of touching it and just left my hair in a ponytail. Later on though, when I jumped into the shower, I was shocked to see what was going on underneath my hair.
Maybe I need a couple of stitches.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Tough love?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Life is one fool thing after another whereas love is two fool things after each other.
-- Oscar Wilde
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
