As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Kicking Butt in the Snow... Wednesday, December 5

Headed out to meet up with Vita Ali; this little gal is probably one of the coolest mini Koreans I've meet in awhile.  In a lot of ways, she reminds me of Giggle Girl Jr -- both tough little cookies that are just too cute for words.

Today Vita Ali and I exercised outside together.

Have you ever watched “Strong Man Competitions” on TV?  Well, if you have than you’re all too familiar with the bizarre and extreme competitions they have – car squats, train pulling, barrel throwing, and so on.  Today Vita Ali and I had our own little “Strong Woman Competitions” outside in the snow.  We didn’t do squats with cars but instead used parts of what later became our snowwoman.  We had a throwing competition via throwing snowballs at some ducks in the river… oh don’t worry, I knew we’d never be able to hit them.  Then we had a wrestling match – Vita Ali against Pyen Chi.  Sorry little lady but I think my four-legged lady beat you.

An hour and a bit later and I walked a very exhausted Vita Ali home.
