As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Self-Inflicted Knock-Out... Monday, January 14

I'm back at camp, located in the middle of No-Man's Land, just after Eternity's Edge.

Nothing much to really write about today considering a new load of campers arrived and considering I was lights out as soon as work ended.  Tomorrow I start floor hockey again so tonight I wanted to head out for a long run.  Boy, was that a brutal no-go!!!

Dinner finished around 6pm, I headed back to my dorm and at 7pm I thought I'd take an hour nap, then go running.

Oh I took a nap... one long, overly extended nap.  One long, overly extended nap that took me into the next day.  I woke up super dazed and confused as to why it was so bright in my room.

Dang Skippy, so much for that run... a tear, a tear.

I totally blame it on yesterday -- all the excitement, pumping adrenaline, the hype, the action... the blood, sweat and tears.  I blame it on yesterday but no regrets.  Yesterday was awesome!!!
