As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

In watching an overly romantic movie, oozing with sappiness and all that gooshie stuff, I started thinking about my own love story -- the story of Snickers and me.
It's filled with wider-than-the-mouth-can-stretch smiles, make-your-tummy-hurt laughter and sillies...
... with excessive fun times and a sense of closeness unlike I have ever shared with anyone else...
and the leading man, Snickers, plays so many roles in my love story.
Marrying Snickers is the best thing I've ever done in my whole life, the one decision I knew the answer too even before he asked me the question.
And it's funny to think back, at how he started off as the scary guy at my boxing club, the tough guy that trained hard, kept to himself and never talked to me.  He was once a guy I was afraid of.
... but now he's the one person in this entire world I just can't get enough.
