As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

With only the basic part of the tattoo done, I still have one or two more sittings.  The finer branches have to be added in, as well as more blossoms, line detailing, and outlining.  I figured I'd share with you what's been done so far, because people have been asking.
And as for Snickers, these are the sketches he sent me last night via Kakao Talk.  Last night my Thai friend only did the outlining tattoo work of it.  It'll take Snickers probably 2 or 3 more sittings to get it done -- 2 or 3 sittings of painful shading in... ouch!!!

Is the red color just pen work, to help when applying the real black ink?

Hi Anonymous,
Yes, the red colour is just the pen sketch -- to help the tattoo artist. It'll be all black when it's done;)

But doesn't the pen get smudged or erased after a shower? What's the point of doing so much pen work all at once (or did he get all the outline tattooed over the pen lines on the first day?

Hi Anonymous,
Yes, it totally does but he didn't have a shower. This picture was taken after the sketch was done and then it was inked on. Yes, just the outline got done. It will be shaded in on a later date ;)
