As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I've definitely experienced the highs and lows of this entrepreneur mountain hike with both Flipside Fitness and our boxing club though I must admit I didn't lower my expectations quite like those around me suggested me to with both my girls group and club.  I refuse to settle!
I'd say that January marked "the dip" part of the mountain climb with Flipside.  I blame it on a collection of various factors -- me being away at camp, us not being able to use both UP and our new boxing club so no boxercise classes.  I highly anticipate the opening of our boxing club to be the "taking of the crown" part of this mountain hike.  I really hope it'll become like a clubhouse for my ladies and that they will use it like a drop-in, come hang out, and the aim is to host additional events there.

Thanks Arnold... great secrets to live by!
