As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Day Date and Night Training

Went on a day date with my baby boy so off to the country side we headed.
Destination, a notoriously stunning restaurant Snickers has heard rave reviews about.
The property alone of this particular restaurant was worth the drive out here.
I've never ever seen a restaurant anything remotely like this one.
It's a traditional restaurant with all the traditional fixings, even the garden of clay pots filled with kimchi and whatnot.
However, despite it being a thirty minute drive to the country and totally being in a tucked away mountain side location, the place was buzzing with people and we never did get to enjoy its food.  We headed there hungry and they were closing up to prepare dinner.  We'll be back though, I promise you that!
Ended up checking out some random little side road restaurant for samgyetang (chicken soup with ginseng).  It wasn't what we anticipated eating today for our day lunch date but it most definitely was delish!!!
Back to Hulk's for training.
Snickers did his own training -- tire exercises and boxing -- while I lead the Crossfit Challenger class and then did several rounds on the sandbag.
Snickers proved to be quite the distraction though for me as I worked the sandbags.
I mean come on, do you always have to look so hot?!
