As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sunday is NEVER a Day of Rest at Hulk's

It was my weekly weigh-in today and my results were fantastic!!!
Here's last week (on the left) and this week's print out (on the right), side by side.
Renovations continued with Snickers fixing up part of the floor... it just never ends.
And then we worked on the second treadmill.  We fixed the electrical wiring but now the tread band seems to be too tightly attached... yet another fixer-upper we have to continue working on.
While Snickers continued working on the floor, I sat down and worked on updating members' goals, adding in their phone numbers into our club phone, and printing off their profile pictures.
Then it was training time for me so I slipped into some comfy Adidas leggings, threw on one of my new tank tops and then put my hair in a middle school girl's top-of-the-head pig tail... hahaha.
Note how distracting it is trying to exercise when your four-legged "gang" follows you every where!!!
I only train for about 40 minutes on Sundays -- 10 minutes on the treadmill and then in the ring sparring with Snickers.
Today we went for 5 rounds.  I wanted to go for 6 but on account I took a brutal punch early on, in the second round, we stopped after five.
