As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Energy-Packed Boxing at the Asian Games

Headed up to Incheon for the 2014 Asian Games and I was soooooo excited!!!
This was the scene I entered when I arrived at their boxing stadium -- holy impressive stadium and what a beautiful ring!  They really did an awesome job on the setup.
Forget the little kid on TV who said "I want to be like Mike", I want to be like these fierce females.
They were so jam-packed with awesome energy and their arms were totally cut!!!
Not the flag; it's the North Korean flag.  When they let it down I just about pooped my pants with excitement.  I knew the energy of the event was just about to skyrocket and I was right.
With North Korean fans sitting beside that of India's, when the two countries faced each other in the ring the police moved in on the crowd. (Police are the ones with the green pinnies on).
