As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Day at the Festival (and Last Night's Night too)

Headed to the Dance Festival here in Cheonan.
We actually came here last night but so here's the pictures I snapped from last night... before my phone went flying off the table and nose dived into the ground, shattering it's screen entirely.
[Enter a tear here, maybe a few because I know it's going to cost a pretty penny or two!!!]
One of my favourite things at Cheonan's festivals is that it is always accompanied by fantastic food and with this particular festival being an international one, the food and stands definitely reflects that.
"I'll be seeing you next week", I told the men at Thailand.
They had no idea what I was talking about but I knew.  Thailand here I come!!!
"...and I'll be seeing you on my plate in a bit", I told this fat piggy.

Last night we had checked out part of the concert was going on but, between you and me, I was more interested in the food than anything else.  I had hit my target weight so Snickers said I could pick what we'd eat for dinner.  And just my luck too, picked the meal, the meal arrived, and when Snickers and I went to snap a picture, my cell phone went flying out of his hand and crashed on the floor.  No worries though.  I've had a cell phone for ten years in Korea now and this is my first ever needed screen replacement so the odds have definitely been in my favour.

...back to today's pictures...
With the sunny shinning bright and the weather being absolutely gorgeous, the festival was packed!
The place was packed with so many people and food... apparently even some goats got invited!!!
I am convinced, I am not the only one in love with these four-legged beauties.
I mean, who doesn't love a goat?!  Exactly.
Snickers treated me to this, it's a potato cut in a spiral machine and then stuck on a stick.
It's not exactly the healthiest considering it's deep fried but one bad meal won't kill me.
Time to leave.  Goodbye Cheonan Dance Festival, I'll see you next year!
After the festival, off into the sunset Snickers and I drove on Franky-G, our tough boy scooter.
