As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Missing Everything That's Home to Me Already

Today I left this beautiful man, my man, to head of to Thailand for a fight and, to tell you the brutal truth, I seriously thought I was going to cry having to leave him.  No sooner did my bus pull away from the terminal, leaving him there waving at me, but then I already started to miss him!!!
It's official... here's my plane.  I'm leaving Korea.
My Busan buddy, Tommy, is along with me for the adventure.
He too has a fight next week in Thaiand.
After a 6 hour flight, some nasty airplane food, and an overdose of reading my Mind Gym, we finally arrived in Thailand.  First on our list to do, get a decent meal so we headed out to get some street food.
My first Thai meal on this trip and it was absolutely delish!!!
