As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hold Up for Big News... Tuesday, November 27

I've always promised myself that if I ever was sponsored by a company, I'd only agree to it if it was a company I could respectfully stand behind, a company I'd back up and be proud of.  I am currently sponsored by Klean Athlete, Six Pack Chef, Fix and Fogg, and KiaOra Kitchen.

I'm about to possibly sign with another sponsor today.

I'm super stoked about this particular sponsorship because of what this company is about to be launching here in the Philippines.  It's exactly in sync with what I'm doing with my own brand and company so it's like a match made in Heaven.

I had a meeting today regarding the potential sponsorship and was quite excited about it.  I just had to go in, tell them what I do, what I stand for, and where I'm going with all I'm doing and standing for.  I think he was impressed.

It's not a for sure sponsorship yet but, trust me, when it is, I'm going to proudly blast it.  It's very cool.
