Funny story. Tonight I got food poisoning.
I, of course, am writing this after the fact and after I narrowed it down to what the hell had turned my tummy upside down and had me bent over the next morning, thinking I was dying.
I can say it here because, well, I don't think many people read my blog, but I couldn't say it on social media like Facebook or Instagram, both of which are viewed by my sponsors. I couldn't even so much as joke about it because I'm sponsored by a food company so everyone knows all my meals and daily snack are provided fresh by them. I also couldn't say it because the only other food I ate outside of my sponsored meal plan was at a business event I went to at Skittles' mens only lounge, hosted by a company I'm trying to be sponsored by.
So which of the three sounds worst?!
a. Food poisoned by my food sponsor.
b. Food poisoned by Skittles' place.
c. Food poisoned by my potential sponsor.
It wasn't my food sponsor, I'll say that for sure. But I did get food poisoning at Skittles' place during the event. The host of the event had hired an outside company to cater it and they're the ones responsible for what went down the morning after... yikes. And I mean yikes. It wasn't pretty.
I guess that will teach me not to eat anything other than what my official sponsor sends me.
