As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Last Full Day... Friday, December 20

It was sad leaving boxing today, am not going to lie.  I love the intense training and training with Coach Marcelo is rough and tough but so good.  Training in Canada doesn't compare to training in the Philippines.  The added heat brings a whole other level of intensity to my training and amplifies the difficulty of it all by a zillion.

I have no idea where I'll be training while in Canada.

Clancy's Boxing is no longer Clancy's Boxing but instead is just another kind of gym.

Cabbagetown Boxing no longer has their Friday Fight Club with all women sparring.

Perhaps System Fitness but I can't get a hold of anyone regarding a two week membership.

Spent most of my day together split between training at the boxing club and preparing for tomorrow's second HUGE Lil' Sistas Christmas party.  Candies had to be purchased, pinatas had to be filled, presents had to be wrapped, details had to be confirmed.  I tried to let 3 of my 4 four-legged babies in on the festivities prep work by letting them hang out with me on the second floor, the boxing studio part of my clubhouse.  I wasn't really anticipating them getting into all the candy packaging though and trying to attack the pinata.  This must be what it's like to have kids -- juggling little terrors while trying to actually complete a task.
