As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Leaving on a Jet Plane... Sunday, December 22

How to avoid jetlag and "digestive issues":
Don't eat when in the air but, if you can't resist, limit it to only a couple of snacks, and stay awake.

[Note: By "digestive issues" I mean the fact that most can't poop for days after flying.  #truth]

Annnnnnnnnd it totally worked.

Took a direct flight to Canada, a 15hr flight, and didn't eat any of the meals and I stayed up the entire flight.  Arrived in Canada around 6:30pm and felt fine.  Mind you, I did have about 6-7 solid cups of coffee so that definitely helped.  None the less, I only had a couple of snacks, like some fruit, and I skipped all the meals.  I didn't nap at all but instead worked on my promo for the new year for Empowered Clubhouse.  I created the promo, worked on all the details, and even made the ad picture and accompanying write up for it.
