As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Wait Till He Sees It... Friday, December 13

It seems kind of fitting that it's Friday the 13th, the day that one of my main sponsors, the Six Pack Chef, posts their video of me on their YouTube channel.  I love the video, not going to lie.  I love the different angles they used and what they chose to focus in on but I know parts of this video is going to upset my father.

He doesn't know the details on how I broke my hand.  He knows I broke my hand but I made up a silly story because I couldn't tell him that at the time I was working for a gang at a bar and the bouncer attacked me.  I continued to work there for 3 years after the fact actually.

He also doesn't know that I stole that bike when I was younger.  Perhaps it's not a big deal to most people but I think it will be a big deal for him.  I was his little princess growing up and though I did my fair share of mischievous things, like running around in the underground sewer tunnels and spray painting stuff, he doesn't know I stole that bike.

My father isn't an open book like me.  He likes to tell me his hard times growing up but I know he is hesitant about sharing it publically.  So for me to go public with things that maybe he thinks are personal, yeah, it may bother him.

I'm sorry but I'm not sorry because this is me.
