1. Woke up early and totally shocked everyone when I arrived at training at 7:30am. Busted my butt on the treadmill and Woo got a good laugh when I cranked up the speed as a joke but then the button got jammed....I felt like the road runner!
2. Day 2 of my attempt at quitting coffee and what did I do, by accident I bought ice cream for Wisdom class thinking it was chocolate flavour but it turned out to be coffee flavor! Obviously I couldn't give it to them but then I had all this coffee ice cream! I ate only one. Tomorrow I'll quit.
3. Had an insane gym class with THREE classes joined in one sweaty room. Fortunately no one got hurt, well Jimmy cried but that's not a surprise cause he always cries. Thought it was funny when we sat in a circle on the floor and our circle of students was as big as the room. So much for any circle games!
4. Told Virgo class that Monday will be their last class with me as their teacher and then all of a sudden they hugged me and told me they loved me....does this mean they don't want me to go or they're over joyed with the news?!
5. Crashed after work and woke up with just enough time to meet up with Tasha and the guys so I wasn't able to train. That's okay though cause I did my running in the morning.
6. Expecting another late night tomorrow cause my new friend, Katela, called me and told me she's got some "yummy" plans for me...what does that mean?!
7. Mook made a special visit to Cheonan and so it was great to see him again. We had our sentimental moment at the restaurant when he took my hand and told me that he misses me. Could have cried but we had an audience.
8. Mr and Mrs Park showed up with Young Un and we all had lots of laughs about Young Un being pregnant. We all agree that late one night after too much soju, Mook and Young Un had a 'thing' and so Mook is the father.
9. Somehow got myself into a push-up competition with Woo in the middle of a restaurant. However I wasn't able to score another easy win like I did with Young Un. Woo creamed me!
10. Came home late and went to sleep. Woke up some time later to some dog barking outside in the street. Looked out the window and realized that it was Daewoo. I had locked Daewoo out of my apartment. Opps.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
If you could have one minute in your life last a lifetime, what minute would that be?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
I pity the fool.
-- Mr T
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
