1. Woke up to a confusing phone conversation with Jin Suk... totally forgot I was suppose to meet up with her at 11am.
2. Meet up with Jin Suk at noon and scoped out the new gym. Was definintely impressed with the low price and the indoor golf driving range. Agreed that this will be my new training spot.
3. Watched a tear-jerker movie.... what a chic!
4. Totally wasn't motivated to train today so I slept basically all day and it felt soooooooo good.
5. Got picked up by Ryan (Korean mini-hottie) on his little silver scooter and we went on the search for live octopus to eat.
6. After hearing numerous stories about octopus sucking on your tongue while you tried to swallow them, I can't say I was too disappointed when we didn't find octopus.... settled for a coffee house and then spare ribs.
7. Walked into the restaurant looking hot minus the wet bum I was sporting from Ryan's scooter (cause of last night's rain).
8. Had a bad case of diarrhea of the mouth with Ryan and ending out staying out till 3:30am with him... coffee and spare ribs took us 6hrs to conquer!
9. Didn't think about the chilly temperature drop and so by the time I got home it was official, I got a cold.
10. Went to unlock my apartment door and realized I didn't even locked it.... that's so bad, I admit it!
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Do you even think about my "question of the day"?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Americans are everybody's public enemy.
-- Ryan
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
