As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Saturday, September 30

1. Had the big eye appointment today with the lasik eye surgeon to see if I was eligable to have lasik eye surgery... appointment lasted almost 2 hours!!! The big surgery has been set for this Monday... oh gosh! I am so nervous!
2. As a part of the numerous tests they did, they also did tests with various eye drops. Eye drops #1 paralyzed my eyes so that the doctor could literally touch my eyes and measure them. Eye drops #2 were to see how much tears my tear glands produce. Eye drops #3 made my pupils go crazy big.
3. After 2 hours of testing, I left the hospital dizzy and looking like a drug addict (cause of the super dialated pupils!!!!!)
4. Had a bit of a freak-out at LotteMart when I went to look at my phone and I couldn't see anything on the screen.... the nurse WAS right... I couldn't see any kind of detail for about 4 hours!
5. Shhh, secret..... Ryan kind of helped me cook supper tonight for my dinner party with Kim Tae and Byung Hyuk. Yes, it's true boys. I feel better now that you know I didn't really cook the meal that you SO LOVED (ya, ok). So blame it on Ryan. Had we been in Canada, I would have got rave reviews from my quests...ha, ha, ha.
6. Byung Hyuk and Kim Tae arrived for dinner and brought some surprises. Kim Tae brought some homemade kimchi (awesome... thanks Mrs. Kim) and Byung Hyuk brought some of the world's largest pears!!! Ha, ha, ha.
7. Thought I'd share some Western entertainment with my buddies and so I surprised them a copy of my episode of "Match Maker". They were so shocked to see me on a dating show.
8. Turns out they were more shocked than I expected and so they kept on rewinding the video. Byung Hyuk even took pictures of the TV!!! Oh no!!!
9. The party moved upstairs to the balcony where the boys entertained me by teaching me some Korean hand games. The games were quite amusing but rather violent and abusive.... loser ended up either getting their hands slapped, their back smacked, or (the worst one) their wrist slapped!!!... it was SO much fun!!! Ha, ha, ha.
10. Oh my gosh.... Byung Hyuk tasted my toe! See... they smell like flowers! Hopefully the name, Princess Smelly Feet, will die soon. I'm not too sure what was up with him rubbing a pear on my feet though.... strange boy! Ha, ha, ha!
