As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Saturday, September 23

1. Just my luck… thought I had the whole gym to myself today but no such luck. Mr. Cocky-Pants shows up and where does he stand?!.. right in front of me while I’m doing dumbbell curls in the mirror. I swear, I was one step away from throwing them at him!
2. Meet up with Kim Tae and Byung Hyuk for ANOTHER bowling rematch… this is like the 2nd rematch. Ha, ha, ha.
3. Killed my finger at bowling but was too determined to care. There was no way I was going to lose to these two boys!!!
4. The big surprise of the night was definitely Byung Hyuk’s victory at bowling! That’s a first! I came in 2nd and Kim Tae was definitely upset with losing to me… a girl. Ha, ha, ha. I’m sure there’ll be yet another rematch though.
5. Treated the boys to a good meal out at one of my favorite restaurants, Mainz. We ate like royalty and feasted out.
6. Revealed the “secret” of my hide-away loft downtown and oh, is it ever a juicy secret but I’ll never tell YOU! Ha, ha, ha.
7. I am officially Koreanized. After eating, the evening didn’t finish. Instead, we ventured over to a singing room where we busted out the tunes and belted them out on the mics…. Oh my gosh. This was definitely a first for me and I was so nervous.
8. WOW! Was totally blown away by Byung Hyuk and Kim Tae for singing English songs. However, I’m sure they really don’t know exactly what they’re singing and so it was very amusing to hear them sing such lyrics. If only they understood… oh gosh! Ha, ha, ha.
9. Today marks my one week anniversary of meeting my new friend… the super spy. Well, I don’t think he’s a spy… I’m convinced he’s the leader of some kind of run-away gypsies or side-show circus. Ha, ha, ha…just joking. There… Zeph, are you happy with your shout-outs? Ha, ha, ha. Ya.. you go and enjoy your Hawaiian paradise... hope you get a sunburn...ha, ha, ha!
10. Today also marks the one week anniversary of meeting someone else… who apparently now thinks he loves me. Boys… I’ll never understand these creatures. What ever happen to them being the simpler species?!

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
