As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Sunday, September 17

1. Broke the news to Yong Chan on the phone that I’m not Korean. It was quite amusing cause at first he was rather confused.
2. Was rather amused at “Babo” and how he tried to sell Yong Chan to me on the phone… okay, okay. I get the idea. Yong Chan is a great friend to have. Thanks.
3. After much thought, I came to the conclusion that today will be the day that Ryan and my story of “us” ends. It's not what I necessarily want but I think it's what I need. I think it's the right thing to do.
4. Waited..
5. … and waited
6. …. and waited some more for Ryan to come back to Cheonan.
7. He finally arrived and so I told him the news.
8. As I told him the news, he wasn’t shocked, he wasn’t sad, he wasn’t mad, he wasn’t happy, he wasn’t anything…. he was just Ryan.
9. Went to sleep totally clueless as to what just happened. Did I just give almost a year of my life to a man who is willing to fight with me but doesn’t see it in himself to fight FOR me? I’m confused.
10. This sucks!

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
How could I be so wrong?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
I'm speechless.
-- Ryan
