1. Spent some time with my little girl Sue. She recently went on vacation to a SEVEN STAR hotel in Dubai (rough life eh… and she’s only 7). It was funny looking at all her pictures of her, her cute mom and her gangster-looking doctor dad, but I was so happy to hear that she missed me. I love that mini-Korean!
2. Scored major points with picking up an oldies tape cassette for our (Ryan and me) little road trip out to Daejon. We must have listened to both tapes, both sides, at least twice and I’m sure we amused the fellow drivers on the road. Ha, ha, ha.
3. YES… it’s true. I broke my pinky-swear promise and said the “R” word… Ryan! He’s back.
4. Holy sensory overload! I love it! Ventured out to Daejon Costco to do a little grocery shopping but, like always, a little shopping always turns into a little more shopping and then a lot of shopping! Ha, ha, ha. I don’t even like shopping.
5. Ate a whole bag of M&Ms and I don’t care! Ha, ha, ha. Ended up with the world’s worse stomach ache… now I care. Ahhhhh!
6. As if going shopping wasn’t enough for me, I then came home and did some online shopping for new Nike Shox shoes. Sweet!
7. More shopping… stocked up on my favorite perfume. I don’t care what those boys say, I smell delicious. I’m not Princess Smelly Feet. I smell divine… when I’m wearing socks that is. Ha, ha, ha.
8. Oh the fear… tomorrow I’ll have to stop wearing my contacts cause of lasik eye surgery next week and so today I went a bought new eye glasses. I’m dreading this week all ready!
9. According to one of the polls on this homepage, I totally smoked Wonder Woman in “Who do you think is the strongest?”. I am winning by 47% of the votes, whereas she has a mere 7%.
10. Turns out my competition is Super Man, with 27% of the votes… but that phone-booth-changing, spandex-wearing, geeky, steroid-infested man has nothing on me! I’m 100% natural, which is the least I can say for his spandex! Ha, ha, ha!
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Do you like kimchi?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
NO!
-- child at Costco
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ha ha. I knew you two would get back together; that's why I never offered my condolences. It's just not that easy to break up with a Korean guy. :o)
