As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Thursday, September 28

1. Had the day off of work and so my plans consisted of sleeping in late, lounging around the house, and sporting a mad case of bed-head all day. It was great.
2. Boredom definitely hit me around 4pm! After hours of singing totally off tune, dancing like a fool, failing at focusing on my Korean studies, and bombing with reading any of my book,... I then turned into a lean, mean, cleaning machine...ha, ha, ha.
3. I dusted, wiped, swept, washed, vaccumed, scrubbed, picked-at, picked-up, and put-away whatever I could get my little Polish hands on. I cleaned my house from top to bottom... and in-between. Ha, ha, ha. I even refolded all my clothes.... how's that for being totally bored!!!
4. Got word that my baby (that being my notebook computer, of course) isn't sick anymore! Great! I'm looking forward to my baby coming back tomorrow.
5. Realized just how boring life is without my baby.... no music, no emailing, no internet surfing. I felt totally disconnected from the outside world and life... it was great but I don't think I could stand it for a long time though.
6. I think my new Nike Shox shoes arrived today but I was so lazy and refused to venture outside of my apartment. Going to the first floor to check the mail was out of the question. I wanted to hibernate.
7. At 11pm I was caught off guard and much surprised when Kim Tae showed up to visit me. Very sweet.
8. I was so embarrassed to have Kim Tae see me with my glasses on and so I refused to wear them. Instead, I walked around as a blind woman. I couldn't see a thing!
9. It's hilarious hearing my friends speak English. I definitely find it amusing when Kim Tae struggles to say something and then instead blurts out "pass" (which means he is lost for words). Sooooo funny!
10. Found out much later Yong Chan found his way to Cheonan to talk to me. I don't understand this confusing individual. I admire his persistance but don't see any humor in him tracking me down like he's hunting me.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Did you just call me a pig?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Pass!
