As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hi Amy,
Whats up with you and January. Please don't make me stand in the corner but I think I must have missed something.
Dear Anonymous,
As for January... well, for starters, in January I'll be traveling to Canada during my winter break. Last year I made a surprise visit but didn't get to see MANY friends because of the short duration of my trip. So I haven't really seen many of my friends for about 2 years. Needless to say, this trip is important.
Moreover, it'll either mark a new beginning or an end to things involving Ryan and I. When I return to Korea he will have moved to Seoul (he'll be attending university in March). So... his move will definitely change whatever we've got going on... for better or for worse.
So... January is very special to me. I'm excited, nervous, happy, sad... a mixture of emotions but regardless, I'm super curious to see how many changes January will bring cause at this point I'm desparate for change!!!!!
