1. I personally think it’s kind of funny how Koreans regard numerous things as being good for men’s “stamina”. They eat garlic, drink various herbal drinks, chew on ginseng, and whatnot all in the name of “manly stamina”. Sure it may give them vitality but it kills the romance… have you smelt how bad my fridge smells? Oh my gosh. Mom… let me open my fridge and save you the money of going to the salon for a perm! ㅋㅋㅋ
2. Don’t get me wrong, I do love Koreans, but today I joked around with Ryan about how Koreans protest you should drink this, eat that, pop this pill, etc. cause it’s good for your health and yet us Canadians live longer. Hmm… in Canada we have what?... Poweraid?! ㅋㅋㅋ.
3. Had my last meal with Ryan before his big move… bacon and eggs. He cooked but I ate all the bacon, well, that’s not true. I left him a piece or two.
4. Ryan’s officially not a Cheonanite anymore. He’s given up on Cheonan and so he moved back to Seoul today.
5. Friends, friends, friends… thank you God for the awesome people in my life.
6. Joined up with Kim Tae at Sunmoon University for some studying time. He studied math and English. I studied Korean.
7. Introduced Kim Tae to the world of macaroni and cheese. I didn’t have any original Kraft Dinner on me but instead fed him the competition’s. I don’t think he liked it too much but he was polite and ate it. Maybe I should have thrown some kimchi on it…ㅋㅋㅋ
8. Introduced Kim Tae to Skippy peanut butter… he definitely didn’t like it! ㅋㅋㅋ. I remember when I was young. I always had to be the first to dip my finger in it and still to this day, I get excited over a new container of Skippy peanut butter. That stuff is like gold to me!!!
9. Am considering charging Kim Tae for the free English lessons I’m giving him… just joking. Tonight we watched an English movie with no subtitles and I was impressed with how much he actually understood. He had no problem actually. Cool.
10. With Ryan gone and me left in Cheonan, my house is super quiet now. I hate a quite house. Am considering buying a cat.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Are you studying Byung Hyuk?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
