As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Tuesday, December 5

1. Marshy, Marshy… Marshy!!! Holy blast from the past. After two years of being in Korea, a guy I briefly dated in the past emailed me today.
2. Created a mini quiz game show for my class 1-1. They have final tests next week and so this was my attempt to give major hints for the English test. They had lots of fun but it got quite competitive.
3. The quiz game ran into free time but they didn’t want to stop! Finally the next period was about to start and so my next class students were now entering the classroom. I had to end the game in a tie. Now I owe them all choco pies on Monday! ㅋㅋㅋ.
4. Am curious, yet scared to ask… why all my class 3-2 boys showed up with red painted finger nails is beyond me.
5. Slipped away from school for a bit and joined up with Kim Tae for lunch. It made for a refreshing break in my day.
6. Yesterday’s planned dinner out (as I had promised them cause Ms. Lai found my earring) was cancelled and so we moved it to today…. Today it was cancelled yet again. I suppose some people just don’t like free food. ㅋㅋㅋ
7. Checked out Wild Child’s new apartment… wow! It’s totally beautiful! It was decorated in a very modern style. Everything was new… the apartment, the furniture, the dishes… everything! They got rid of everything and totally started fresh! That’s exactly what I should do but I don’t think I have the patience. I want a new home minus the work…ㅋㅋㅋ
8. Well Wild Child’s apartment is literally in the middle of no-where and finding a taxi was as impossible as finding a needle in a haystack. That’s when I decided making friends with the security guard was my best idea yet. I chatted it up with him for a bit and then he called a taxi. He let me sit in his security booth and even offered me an orange. So cute…ㅋㅋㅋ
9. I finally did it… I finally reached the bottom of the massive bag of M&Ms that have been staring at me for almost 2 months now. Do you realize how hard it was to not be tempted to reach into this massive bag?!… it was like 3lbs of M&Ms. Mind ya, I didn’t exactly resist temptation…ㅋㅋㅋ
10. Shopping at LotteMart with Kim Tae tonight consisted of picking up choco pies for my elementary kids and stuggling to find the perfect gift for my student Jess. It was a toss up between a soccer ball, clothes, a movie, or a CD. Finally agreed on an English pop song mixed CD for him.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What do boys like?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
