As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Swung by Grace's house and checked out her pop-up books.... lots of fun. Within 5 minutes I had kissed a blowfish and got my head chewed on by a tiger...ㅋㅋㅋ

After reading of your trials and tribulations in dealing with your school personnel I felt compelled to comment.Though they probably did not mean to,they just doubled an already stressful time for you.The ebonical term "hard understanding"came to mind. This means that the person is unable or does not desire to understand. Therefore they are said to have a hard understanding.I really think that you are living "the life". Have a nice trip and comeback strong. I know you will.

Dear Mr/Ms. Anonymous,

Thanks for your comment.

Well, the trip is over and I was super eager to come home. Nothing beats home.

I hear what you're saying about hard understanding and I totally agree with ya. I find it rather ironic how no one really cared about my trip and, despite my countless attempts to talk to them about it, no one listened. And yet, when it interfered with their schedule the whole staff was all of a sudden involved and it was the talk of the teachers' room.

But no worries.... I am moving to bigger and better things.. and going strong with it all.

Thanks once again for the comment. I am always interested in what various readers think.
