As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Highlights of my Day... Monday, February 12

1. Happy birthday daddy! Today my dad turned the big 65. He looks sweet sixteen and never been kissed...ha, ha, ha. My dad is awesome!
2. Most of the day I was spent trying to entertain myself and so I found myself wasting the hours away on the computer chatting, emailing and reading my friends' homepages. Thanks for the music downloads Yong!
3. When I was younger my parents pushed me to take piano lessons and I hated practicing. Well, I guess I've matured and have come to appreciate my lessons cause today I spent a good couple of hours tickling the ivories. I actually miss playing the piano!
4. Mom's mocha ball cookies... these alone are reason to come back to Canada!!!
5. In the early evening my brother, his wife and little Elizabeth came over. There we were... one big family. I'm sure my father was loving the fact that we were all there under one roof again.
6. Mom had made her notorious spare ribs that are to die for and other yummies. After dinner we tried to recover from the totally filling meal and then went back in for cake. My dad got down to business with the cake and make quite the mess. I think we should have given him the bib as oppose to Elizabeth... ha, ha, ha. What a Polack!!!
7. Caught my dad on camera singing "Happy Birthday" in Polish... so funny!
8. After all the festivities, I said good-bye to Troy, Cara and Eliazabeth and then headed to Toronto Union Station with my parents and Robbie (Bobby-B).
9. After we all parted and I boarded the bus, reality set in for me. There I sat on the bus getting all emotional. I really don't know when I'll see my family again. Troy's got his own family in the boonies, my parents are always on the go, Bobby-B is out in New York, and I live on the other side of the world, in Korea.
10. Meet up with Kobe. He had been joking around with me about wanting to see my TV date (I had starred on a TV show called "Match Maker") and just as we were talking about it I noticed my name flash across the screen. It was my TV date and three years later they're still showing my episode on TV!!! Watching myself make sausages and then the whole body chocolate scene... ya, that's embarrassing! I'm sure Kobe was highly amused though.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
When are they going to stop airing this episode?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
If I was with you for eight years and I wasn't your fiance, there'd be no nine years.
