As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Sporting my new club jacket and it was a good thing too because a boxing club with no bodies and no heat makes for a very, very chilly time.

Junior Mint picked these jackets out for us a while ago. We got a huge break on the price from the seller and they came with matching training jumpsuits. I'm not crazy about the jumpsuit but the big parka is pretty cool.

Hi Amy,
You made me laugh with the mention of the "poop" stories but since I've been busy running around doing errands and came in to read emails etc.I needed the laughs. Your gym looks cold and if you don't have heat you need to get some. Your gym looks great though. Nice set up. I sent you an email about my sparring on your email address. I want to see if that is better there for you to read. I learned a lot and it's still fun. You make sure you eat some ice cream though Amy. :):)

Hey Beth,
Thanks... hehehe.
Ya, the gym gets so cold in the winter. Junior Mint cranking open the windows doesn't help either though. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you about your email. I've been so busy and distracted. Plus, I get tons of random people commenting and emailing me from my YouTube videos and homepage. I did read it and yes, I WILL respond. I put it on my "Things-to-Do" list today and so I will write back today... thanks ;)
As for the ice cream... that's a cruel, cruel joke... hehehe. Ice cream was the root of my problem... hehehe. I do love it though!!!
