1. Despite my milk being exactly eleven days past it’s expiry date (which I found out with the first spoonful), I ate a whole bowl of granola cereal soaking in sour milk for the very fact that the cereal is organic cereal that I had to trek around in Seoul to find and at $12 a box, not only do I not share it but I also don’t waste it… hahaha.
2. Q asked me to join him for a luncheon with some coworkers and added that it might be a three-hour lunch. “Nope” was my easy reply. He would have convinced me had it not been more than two hours. Two hours is my cut-off mark.
3. What was supposed to be a simple trip to some unknown lake Q had told me about the other day turned into quite the adventure… quite the messy adventure that is.
4. I had anticipated Mi Nam puking during the car ride cause of his previous messy track record with him and cars, but I hadn’t quite anticipated that he’d be swimmer. He hates baths and yet no sooner did I let him off the leash but in he eagerly jumped into the chilly water!!!
5. One wet dog + an open field full of dirt and grass = one overly hyper dirty dog that's close to impossible to catch!!!
6. Finally, like over an hour behind schedule, the three of us (Q, Mi Nam and I) arrived at the lake. Both Mi Nam and I were covered in mud, more so him than me, but we definitely got double looks when we decided to jump in a very public, very open shower together. I only wanted to wash my feet but Mi Nam insisted that it’d be more fun if I got more than just my feet wet… hahaha.
7. Mi Nam rocks, seriously. I’ve never seen such a little boy draw such a crowd as he did today. People were giving him cookies, asking all questions about him, others took pictures, and some even brought their dog over to where he was sitting, to introduce them… hahaha.
8. The fishing part, which was supposed to be the whole part of the trip, turned out to be the minor part of the trip. My interest in watching Q fish quickly died as it no longer was fun sitting in wet jeans and with wet dirty feet.
9. Puke count for Mi Nam, 3… quite impressive for him considering.
10. Upon arriving at home, both Mi Nam and I eagerly jumped into the shower. I still had some stuff to prepare for tomorrow’s lecture but as for Mi Nam, he was definitely lights-out for the rest of the evening!!!
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Why don't more people have dogs?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too.
-- Samuel Butler
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ew, soggy milk. I hope that can't upset your stomach. Remember last time when ADDING SALT to salad made your stomach go crazy? lol
I've never liked fishing...or the outdoors haha but it sounds like one of those fun days you always seem to have when things get too routine.
Random question. How old i Mi Nam?
QOTD:
Dogs are a hassle. Theyre really fun, but I can not imagine myself cleaning up PUKE just to have a pet. I have a cat and she's trouble enough.

Yo Bman,
Ya, the soggy milk wasn't fun but I wasn't about to throuw away all that cereal!
I'm starting to think that maybe I have some kind of salt problem or something cause last night I ate something that was required to be lightly dipped in salt. After however, I had a huge tummy ache... no fun!
Mi Nam, he's 2.
Ya, dogs are a hassle but considering Mi Nam is the love of my life and he pretty much saved my life when I was down in the dumps and struggling from a very shattered heartbreak, offering my time, energy, money, and love is the least I could do for this little guy who's clearly brought so much into my life.
